This example once resided in a firehouse as evidenced by the label attached on the bottom that reads "City of Boston, Fire-a-90 " Oak case in original finish is showing its age with surface abrasions, wear to the finish and dark spots from years hanging on a fire station wall. Original painted dial has light surface scratches around the chapter ring and some loss at the mounting screws. Original hands, pendulum, tablet and weight. Case is stamped "19 ". Pendulum marked "28" which may be date of manufacture as it has a steel plate movement used by the firm about that time.
