Refinished mahogany veneered case has had some restoration. Someone repaired the box with round head screws into the corner blocks which makes for difficult restoration. The bottom glass looks original, but has significant loss and has a corner piece missing. The throat glass also looks original, but also has loss. The repainted dial looks replaced. Movement is attached to the case with a screw through the backplate. Eagle finial is a replacement. Period hands. A letter is included describing the purchase of the clock in 1824.
