Boston Clock Co., Boston, Mass., wall regulator, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement a in mahogany case with painted metal dial. case is in very good condition and has had an application of clear finish applied over the original. Wood weight baffle has split horizontally and been repaired. Bezel glass is wavy. Lower tablet has been repainted with care. The metal dial has very fine craquelure. A large section of the center of the dial has been touched up with white paint. The color match is quite good, but the new paint has a bit less gloss compared to the original. Bluing is somewhat worn off of hands. Very nice pendulum with damascened pattern. Signed movement with spoked hour wheel is stamped with serial number is 438. A very hard-to-find model.
