case dirty, and with minor flakes, gilding good overall, with minor loss and a few small spots of verdigris, lower right base molding detached, right column with small chips and divots, both columns appear to have been lacquered, bead moldings at case top loose, clock case with two small holes for anchoring missing festoons, dial dirty, with minor scratches and hairlines, minute hand with minor bends, movement ticks and strikes, pendulum an incredibly inappropriate replacement

Dupas, a Paris, a late 18th century marble and gilt bronze mantel clock, the base on eight decorated feet, and with inset, scrolling foliate mounts, columns and pilasters supporting a stepped entablature with gilt bead molding, the columns in black marble with gilt capitals and bases, encircled with a spiral, leafy vine, the white pilasters with flanking, scroll buttress bases, mounted with a hanging garland, scrolling at the bottom, and terminating in a floral roundel, the clock case with scrolling foliate pendant, flanked by four urns with gilt flowers, and surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings, and resting on a black pedestal with gilt festoon, roman numeral white enamel dial signed "Dupas a Paris", fancy gilt hands, 8- 15 day pendule de Paris movement with recoil escapement, silk thread suspension, and count wheel striking case dirty, and with minor flakes, gilding good overall, with minor loss and a few small spots of verdigris, lower right base molding detached, right column with small chips and divots, both columns appear to have been lacquered, bead moldings at case top loose, clock case with two small holes for anchoring missing festoons, dial dirty, with minor scratches and hairlines, minute hand with minor bends, movement ticks and strikes, pendulum an incredibly inappropriate replacement
