New England tall clock, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven movement in a cherry case with fretwork top, three brass finials and fluted columns on hood over trunk with fluted corner columns with brass capitals over base resting on ogee feet the case retains its original finish with an age split to base panel. The ogee feet have been shortened. The fretwork top is complete, but in several pieces. Two of the three period finials have damage to the tips. The dial paint and hands are original and the dial is in good condition. The shaft on the seconds hand needs to be extended. The winding crank, tin can weights and brass clad bob are all period.
