Beautifully cast dial with inset enamel cartouche numerals. All appear to be in very good condition. There is some light rust on the iron hands. Nicely made screws with chamfered corners as well as teardrop shapes to hold the movement together. Very tall suspension shroud measuring a full 6 inches in height. Four bladed iron fly. Simple turned crown wheel arbor support. Light rust on iron components of the movement. Iron plate on the back of the case is contoured for clearance of the pendulum. Unusual strike system triggering system with pierced heart shape on the end of the trip piece. The heart motif is also used for the hole through which the crutch passes. No weights or pendulum are included with this clock. This clock was sold by Ivoire Saint-Etienne on June 2nd, 2012 as lot number 47.
