France, industrial series windmill, 8 day timepiece and barometer, spring driven movement in a gilt and silvered brass case with black slate base, mid section with pierced railing, lower section with two simulated windows flanking a door, the door opening to access the windmill movement winding arbor, front with clock and barometer dials, the sides with Fahrenheit and Celsius thermometers. Case and dials with tarnished silver. A small amount of brass showing through the silver on the lower left portion in the back. Gilt surfaces under slightly discolored lacquer. Celsius thermometer is absent, as is the weather vane on the peak of the roof. The brass sails are later additions and not of the proper design. Railing with small bends. Base with one small chip to the edge.
