Mahogany and banded veneered doors and throat in an old finish in nice condition. Original bottom tablet has numerous dates starting as early as 1852. Bottom door is of mortise and tendon construction. The throat tablet appears to be replaced. Throat frame is constructed with splines. Movement is attached to the case with through bolts. Original dial plate that is held in the case with two L-turns has been repainted. Original hands. The two sidearms have been repaired in the center area. Period finial and most likely an original winding key.
