Mahogany and banded veneer door frame case in an old finish. The rosewood and mahogany banding on the throat frame has a couple small repairs. A couple small repairs on the holly banding on the bottom door. Bottom board has been replaced as a result of damage from the weight. Both tablets are replaced, but painting in authentic Willard style by Linda Abrams. Original painted convex dial has the remains of the numbers. Original hands. T-bridge movement is attached to the case with through bolts. Movement has a barrel click with a shaped end. An example of this movement can be found in "Willard's Patent Time Pieces" by Paul Foley, Pg. 22. Eagle finial is cast resin.
