Ourry, a Paris, a large Boulle work and ormolu mounted bracket clock, the case on four turned and flower ringed feet, undulating skirt with conforming bronze mount having a central shell and foliage, arched door with incurved lower corners, and flanked by scroll brackets, foliate drops, and acanthus scrolls, arched cornice molding below a step with corner finials, and surmounted by a removable, cyma curved top, with acanthus corners, floral frieze, and four more urn finials, roman numeral enamel cartouche dial with gilt surround, the enamel center signed "Juhel a Versailles", numbered disc above 12:00 for regulation, and nicely made blued steel pierced and filed hands, above a gilt, architecturally detailed arcaded fret, the rectangular brass movement of at least two week duration with five baluster form pillars, with crown wheel escapement, silk thread suspension, cycloidal cheeks, and count wheel striking, the back plate signed "Ourry a Paris", with large iron key, three partial pendulums, and a 20th century bracket case with repairs to tortoise shell and brass inlay, shell with cracks, some mounts and other brass furniture regilded, some replaced, all mounts now attached with phillips head screws, hole in case top for hammer arbor enlarged, some cartouches with minor chips and repairs, dial center of a slightly different color than the cartouches, hands mising tails, movement oily, ticks and strikes, cheeks replaced, key with repair and rust, pendulums incomplete
