Thuret A Paris", 30 hour two train movement with baluster pillars, powered by a single barrel, and counting the hours on a bell, crown wheel escapement and copper strip suspension with cycloidal cheeks, and decorative, pierced steel levers for strike train warning and locking, and pendulum with turned brass bob case with modifications, bottom board and feet replaced, ebonized veneers with splits and minor losses, all castings on exterior of case with gold paint, some gold paint splatter on case, dial mounting board with replaced velvet, the mount and replaced fabric concealing a rectangular aperture below the dial, hands with repairs and painted gold, the hour hand in steel and the minute hand brass, pendulum suspension incorrect, cheeks appear to be original, crutch with minor bends, runs and strikes
