the case retains its original finish. The crest consists of several separate pieces, which will need to be reglued, but is complete. The lower center portion of the backboard is loose and will need to be reattached. One finial has a chip in the back and an overcoat of finish. The glass on right side is cracked near base. The movement sits on later supports and two channels have been carved in the vertical boards to accommodate the door locks on the movement. The dial is in excellent condition with no chips or hairlines. The beat scale sits on a custom stand on the bottom of case. The nickel plated weight has a minor ding on bottom rim. Mercury for the pendulum is included and must be hand delivered. The level of mercury in the photograph is simulated and may differ from actual amount. This impressive clock cost $135.00 in 1910.
