C.1910, German, for the French market, clock garniture set,
a very attractive Art Nouveau 3-piece porcelain and bronze set. The movement itself is a 30-hour open spring job (ticks fine), but this clock was sold for its artistic appeal. See the bright gold tulips and soft flowing lines so typical of the Noveau movement (one with slight wear from dusting). The porcelain is white and we tried shooting it against black, but it looked dead; it is better looking than the image. Each candelabra with holders for 5 candles, and with bases and feet matching the clock; note both snuffers are present. Height 23" $350-550
C.1900, French Red Porcelain and Bronze clock garniture set,
with matching candelabra. This is a very attractive set, all surfaces covered with gold fleur-de-lis, with white petals above, and alternating rows of gold stars. The well made round French movement with matching number pendulum. The porcelain dial has attractive stylized numerals, and a small hairline by 3 (no chips). Each candelabra with holders for 5 candles, and with matching bases, feet and teardrops (all bronze). Overall excellent; no cracks - minor edge abrasion in rear; great looking. Height 22" $400-600
