Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Parlor Calendar No. 10 Variant" shelf clock with a weight driven 8 day time and strike lyre movement and a R. T. Andrews patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case with burl accents.

The clock is a slight variant of the Parlor Calendar No. 10. The top rails and case front ornamentation, all original to this clock, are slightly different than the catalogue images of this model. This is a very scarce model and the case is in excellent condition with its original finish. The original painted time dial is in very good condition with very minor loss and slight fading around XII. The original painted calendar dial is in excellent condition. The hands are all original. The two cast iron weights are original. The movement is signed.

The case is in very good condition with an original finish which shows some variation across the surfaces of the case. The walnut case is in very good condition. It has been refinished and the black ornamentation treated with black paint or a new finish coating. The time dial inner bezel and the time and strike hands have been painted silver. Both the time dial and the calendar dial are in very good condition. The calendar door glass is original. The hands are original. The movement is signed.

the case is in good condition and has been refinished. The movement is signed. Both the time and calendar dials are original paper with wear and aging. The hands are original. The glasses are original. The finials are professional replacements in the proper style.

The white marble case has a few very tiny chips along a few edges, but no major losses. Striking is the fact that the large back door is intact. Sadly, someone engraved a Social Security Number into the top of the back door. If placed against a wall, this will not be visible. Enamel clock dial is excellent. The signature of retailer is clear and sharp.The calendar dial is also in excellent condition, showing the days and months in English and the rolling moon on a field of stars.

Walnut case in nice condition in original finish. Original paper dial has some stains at the winding arbors. Original hands and pendulum. Original tablet has some small loss at the bottom left corner. Dark, but readable instructions inside. Clean label on the back. Movement is signed.

the case retains its original finish, rubbed down and cleaned. The gold leafed Fashion label on door glass has been restored. The dials retain their original paint and have only minor flaking. The pendulum is polished but is original. The center finial appears to be a replacement. This is a nice example.

The case is in good condition and has been refinished at some point. The center finial is missing its tip. There are several dings along the base of the case. The original painted time dial is in good condition with the exception of some discoloration between 11 and 12. The original painted calendar dial is in good condition with some minor loss in several locations. The hands are all original with the exception of a newer seconds. The door glass and the "Fashion" inscription are original. The movement is signed. The calendar drum papers are original and darkened with age.

The case is in nice condition and retains its original finish. There are several small dings on the base front.. The time dial has been repainted and in fair condition. The original painted calendar dial is in good condition with minor loss. The hands are original with the exception of the seconds hand. The door glass is original and the Fashion insignia has some restoration. The interior Seth Thomas case label is in good condition. The movement is signed. The calendar drum papers are replacements. The pendulum with a central star is correct.
