The wood case is in good condition, with only minor bumps and scratches. There is a small metal tag with the company name on right side of the case. There is an inner paper label, but it is difficult to read. The black velvet backing on the front of the display is in very good shape. The pink velvet on butterfly's wings is a little faded from time in the sun, but looks quite good. Two of the twelve ring holders are broken. The unsigned spring driven movement with simple escapement is dirty but works very well.

The wood case is in good condition with very minor scratches to the edges and corners. The stork figure is missing a little yellow paint in its legs and some white paint on its wing. Four of the simulated gemstones on the front are absent. The unsigned spring driven movement with primitive escapement is dirty, but works quite well. When fully wound, the sign will operate for several hours.

(1) clock retains its original finish, dial, hands, and gold leafed advertising tablet. The dial has some losses and discoloration, however is original, with some touch-up to the lettering in advertising section. (2) The finish on the case has turned quite dark obscuring the wood type, which may be rosewood veneer. There is some white wall paint near back edges of the case. The dial is replaced as is the door glass. Lower portion of case will need to be glued. Dimensions are for the finish (1) .

the case is fully restored, original movement is manufactured by Seth Thomas, top and door are professional and proper replacements, revolving canisters and their mechanism have been properly reproduced and bear multiple advertisements, dial has been repapered, gallery on top of the clock is ready to receive an advertisement under the glass. This is a fully restored and uncommon clock.

the case has been painted black and the backboard has been replaced. The time and calendar New Haven movement is a replacement. The papered dial, dial pan and dial supports are replace. The pendulum is a replacement. The advertising canisters are absent.

Oak case in original finish has a couple dings and scraps and damage at the bottom edge of the center medallion at the bottom bracket. Original paper dial has some wear, stains and abrasions. Original hands and pendulum. Original top glass. Original bottom glass has slight loss at the letter R in jeweler. The name on the glass was painted by a different hand as it was not as skillfully done as the gold lettering. Small label on the back of the case.

the case has an old refinish with some restorations including repainted inside backboard and dial surround. The tablet has been professionally repainted advertising Nelson's Pharmacy Marion, Kentucky. The advertising rolls have been professionally restored with period advertisements. The dial has been replaced. Andrew Van Woert Strait took out a patent in 1886 for the rotating cylinders in the bottom which change the ad every 5 minutes. This is a nicely restored example in mostly original condition.

Refinished oak case. The small decorative incised oak piece just below the bottom door looks to be a replacement. Original dial has been repainted. The hands are replaced as they are not the type typically found on this clock. Original advertising glass. Ht 40 1/2"
Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., "Crane" model advertising wall clock with an 8 days, spring driven brass timepiece movement, c1912.
The oak case retains an original finish. The original advertising paper dial states: "Two Star Co., 9516 Foster Ave., Brooklyn, New York". The dial is in good condition with minor wear and touch up around the numeral 12. The upper glass is original, but has a small piece broken off the top left corner and has been reblacked with black paint. The lower advertising glass, which states "Two Star Radiator Solder", is original and has also been reblacked with black paint. The hands are original and the movement is signed. Ht 37 1/2".
