Welch, Spring, & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Wagner" hanging calendar clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike movement and a B. B. Lewis patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case.
The case is in excellent condition, retaining its polished original finish. All finials are intact. The original paper time dial is in very good condition and shows wear consistent with the age of the clock. The hands are original. The pointer on the day indicator hand is missing. The calendar dial is original and in excellent condition, as are the calendar hands. The clock originally had a wire gong strike but that has been converted to a bell strike, but the original iron mounting bracket and brass cover are there so it could easily be converted back. The Welch, Spring and Co.
Seth Thomas Office Calendar No. 13 (reproduction) with a weight driven 8 day timepiece movement with maintaining power and a perpetual calendar mechanism (R. T. Andrews style) in an oak case.
The oak case is in excellent condition with one small dent on the lower right side of the case. Parts of the case such as the backboard and sides are oak veneer while some of the other parts are solid oak. The pendulum bob is damaskeened.
E. N. Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, Conn., "Eclipse", 8 day, spring brass movement with calendar regulator wall clock. This clock was made for the Metropolitan Manufacturing Co., New York.
Refinished walnut case in nice condition. Original paper dial is worn is places. Original hands, pendulum and door glass. The pendulum suspension spring is broken and will need attention. The movement is signed. Clean label on the back.
Otto Van Meurs, Amsterdam, Netherlands, wall clock, 3 day, time and strike with calendar and moon phase, weight driven movement in an associated mahogany case, engraved brass dial and chapter ring, applied cast spandrels, and pierced steel hands.
Newer mahogany case probably dates to late19th or early 20th Century. Case is in good condition and the top of the door has been recently sanded down so that it closes easily. The two crude finials are of cast copper. The entire pendulum is a new construction with a strip of sheet copper for a suspension spring. The seatboard and movement risers are made of new wood and held to the movement with modern machine screws. The movement shows many signs of repairs, some old and some new, some well done and some not. The movement has a recoil escapement and countwheel and bell strike.

the case retains its original finish. The dials retain their original paint. The hole for the center arbor has been enlarged, which is unnoticeable when the hour hand is mounted. The calendar mechanism is a proper style reproduction.

the case retains its original finish in good condition with minor nicks and scuffs. There is a crack repair on the lower left ornament. The crest, bottom and finials appear original however the finials have been refinished. The dials have some minor staining but are original. The nickel plated pendulum and its weights are original. It has a correct brass gear Welch movement with nickel plated plates. This is a extremely nice example of the desirable Ithaca hanging jeweler's model.

the case retains its original finish that is nicely rubbed down. The top and bottom trim elements are all intact and present and in very good condition. The upper dial retains its original paint with some scattered flaking. The lower dial has been repainted. This is an excellent example of a hard to find model.

the case in very good condition retains its original finish nicely rubbed down. The metal dials have been repainted. The pendulum bob and indicator are in very good condition and reflect well. We sold another fine example of this model in October of 2012 for $15,100 plus 15% Buyer's Premium.

the clock is in excellent original condition including original finials and weights. The papered dials have been clear coated.

the case retains its original finish with a repair to tip of the crest. The dials are repainted with some flaking on upper dial. Otherwise, this is an excellent example of a desirable double dial calendar model.
