figure is in very good condition. Some of the pigments may have faded. The movement runs when wound and triggered, turning the head and pumping the bellows. The bellows have dried out and will need to be restored. The spring-driven brass movement is signed below the belows with the Griesbaum trademark. A rare model with a lot of character.

The figure is in good condition. Whatever he once held in his right hand is now missing. The pendulum for small novelty clock is absent, but easily replaced. The movement works, but the trigger lever will need to be secured better. The bellows material has been replaced. The whistling is breathy and faint. Head moves. The movement is likely signed behind the bellows, but it is difficult to tell for sure. An uncommon model.

The figure is in good condition. There are small losses of paint on the front of the leg and corners of the ascot. The door covering the movement has a different finish than the figure so may be a replacement. The base of the figure and movement are signed with the Griesbaum bird trademark. The movement runs when triggered, the head turning and the bellows pumping. The bellows will need to be restored. The small novelty clock movement also runs when wound.

The stand is in very good condition. The paper dial has darkened with age and has minor staining. The porcelain bobbing doll is replaced, but has age. The hands are original. The coiled spring is in good condition. The movement is signed.

The nickel plated stand is in very good condition. The paper dial has darkened with age and has minor staining. The porcelain bobbing doll is replaced, but has age. The hands are original. The coiled spring is in good condition. The movement is signed.

France, probably Eugene Farcot, Paris, swinging doll clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven movement employing the chaff-cutter escapement with two escape wheels in an alabaster case with white enamel chapter ring and putto figure pendulum swinging front

Very small edge and corner chips the case edges. White speckling on the front of base. Putto is original and was touched up with gold paint. The porcelain dial has three fine hairline cracks. There never was a bezel or front glass because this clock originally was placed under a glass dome. The movement is stamped with serial number 7989, "Chappement Brevet", a trademark featuring a bird with arrows and "FOT" which was used to indicate "Farcot ". Breguet style hands are original and have had some gold paint applied. Base was reglued with modern adhesive.

Carved figure is in good condition. There is a small hole on the figure's right side where they carved too deeply. Some of the original pigment has been polished off of his coat and the lamp post and there are some spatters of a dark liquid on the figure's midsection. Battery compartment door on the bottom of the figure is absent. Original lamp socket, wiring, and battery holders. Glass in lamp shade may not be original. Movement is signed behind the bellows. Movement is active when wound, pumping the bellows, moving the slide whistle, and turning the figure's head.
