C.1997, English, Royal Geographical Society, annular dial clock, with a world Globe on top, protected by 4 columns and a brass plate at the equator. Note globe turns manually to calculate time difference; does not turn with dial.
Condition: there is some tarnish on the brass plate, however overall the clock is in good condition, and with original subscription plaque, engraved with the name of the donor: Pascal's Manale Rest. Tape Measure clock.
Runs really well, but case will have to be painted.
You have seen "Flip Card" clocks, but have you seen a Lenzkirch flip card clock.
It is 8 day, winds and sets on the base, it is complete and running. The cards are protected by glass on three sides and metal in the back. Four full columns and a slot for advertising on the front base. I would guess this sat in a bank or similar office at one time. The movement is signed, "Lenzkirsch 1 Million", and their trademark and serial number 509907. The balance may be a replacement but is running just fine.

The Plato Clock, C. 1903.
Their motto was, "watch the time fly". Complete, probably never serviced, and doesn't seem eager to run. Flip cards all there, in place, and can be turned by knob underneath, also wind the one day movement underneath. Upper cards show the hours, lower the minutes. 6" metal case, brass finish never cleaned. 4 beveled glasses, 3 good, 1 damaged. Ehrhardt, Book 3, page 47.
C.1890, French, Farcot, Conical (rotary) Pendulum Annular dial alarm clock in generally good original condition,

Weive had several of these clocks in the past, and this model is pictured in Tardyis La Pendule Francaise, part II, page 472, and is classified as "Horloge de table Fantasie". This one with Farcot name and trademark, and is a little unusual in that it is engraved all over with scallops and flowers. Note one of the shaped cap screws on top has been incorrectly replaced, and the base has some dents. Serial number 10693. Height 6ae inches
