Ebonized cherry case in nice condition in original finish has some surface wear to the finish around the side lock and some dings on a small spot on the left side back edge. Original painted dial has a couple chips on the outer edge and some staining at the winding arbors. Nice damascene pendulum. Dark label inside. Original weights and hands. .

The case is in excellent condition with original finish. The original painted dial is in very good condition with slight loss around the winding arbor. The hands are original. The movement is signed and has a serial number of 356. Both door glasses are original. The regulating plate is missing.

E. N. Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, Conn., "Italian Hanging V.P." wall clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement in a rosewood and rosewood veneered case.

A later clear finish has been applied over the original finish. The crest was broken and glued. Carved scroll on the right side is absent. Paper dial is old and appears original with stains and surface scuffs. Original hands, tablet and pendulum. Black flocked paper on the backboard has some surface cracks. Movement is signed.

The beveled side mirrors are in excellent condition. The original signed cut glass pendulum bob is in excellent condition. The door glass is original.
