Shelf Animated Figural Novelty

Oswald novelty clock, ca. 1960.

This little 4 inches high clock is shaped like a dachshund dog; composition body with a few minor scuffs, overall condition is good. The case is stamped "Germany" with the original Oswald sticker on bottom. As the 1-day movement runs, the eyes rotate, left eye the hours and the right eye the minutes. Movement is running.

Condition: This dog is wooden and Not the later composition case. Although there are minor nicks and scrapes, this case is in generally good condition, a few worm holes in the body section. Minor discoloration in the eyes. Seems to be running just fine. Serial number 10320, a nice example. Height 8 inches

C.1894 Ansonia Clock Co., ÒJumper No. 1Ó, 30-hour Bobbing doll timepiece.

Condition: Nickel plated case is in quite nice condition with some wear in spots and more general wear on the base. The original paper dial is faded in places and darkened a little, but quite nice for its age. The hands are original. The doll is not original, but a very nice replacement, well made. Height 15.25 inches

United Self Starting, "Ballerina" model, animation, music, and time, C. 1955.

She dances as the music plays, and is performing behind a plastic front. Mirror in the back accentuates her movements. Wood and metal case is 13" wide, 10" high. Everything is working, clock running, light comes on over the Ballerina, music plays, and she dances. You may need to position her on her pedestal after shipping. Ehrhardt, Book 3, page 196.

C.1935, German, J. Oswald Uhrenfabrik, "GENIE", rotating eye clock.

You tell the time by the position of the pupils in their eye sockets, minutes on the right and hours on the left. This is a composition case and it shows signs of some glue repairs over the years, and the tip of his turban is broken away, however it is otherwise complete and sound. The movement is running briskly, and is properly signed, J. Oswald, Germany. Height 7 inches

C.1950, German, "Oswald" molded Fakhir (Genie) rolling eye novelty.

Has 30-hour backwind timepiece movement with rolling eyes that indicate the time (15 minutes to 6 is showing in foto). The case is in nice condition with some flaking of the original "off-yellow" paint. The little round tray is original; careful not to lose the carved wooden hands which come out of the composition body. Height 8.25 inches

C.1894, Ansonia Clock Co., "Jumper No. 1", 30-hour bobbing doll timepiece in generally good condition,

with replaced doll (plastic) and a tear drop added to provide enough weight for it to escape. The nickel plated case is in good condition with a couple of dings on the base and a crease on one side of the back cover. The original paper dial is very clean with a very small stain; some dirt behind lens needs cleaning out. Height 15.5 inches
