E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 70 Regulator", 8 day, weight brass movement wall timepiece.

Oak case in an old and possibly original finish. Original painted dial has some minor loss at the mounting screws and winding arbor. Original hands. Original tablet has a little loss in the red background and the pendulum opening. Original pendulum. Movement is signed.

Boston Clock Co., Boston, Mass., wall regulator, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement a in mahogany case with painted metal dial.

case is in very good condition and has had an application of clear finish applied over the original. Wood weight baffle has split horizontally and been repaired. Bezel glass is wavy. Lower tablet has been repainted with care. The metal dial has very fine craquelure. A large section of the center of the dial has been touched up with white paint. The color match is quite good, but the new paint has a bit less gloss compared to the original. Bluing is somewhat worn off of hands. Very nice pendulum with damascened pattern.

Oak case in original finish is showing its age with surface abrasions, wear to the finish and dark spots from years hanging on a fire station wall. Original painted dial has light surface scratches around the chapter ring and some loss at the mounting screws. Original hands, pendulum, tablet and weight. Case is stamped "19 ". Pendulum marked "28" which may be date of manufacture as it has a steel plate movement used by the firm about that time.

Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2" hanging timepiece, 8 day, weight driven movement with maintaining power in an oak case with painted metal dial.

Rubbed down oak case with some small veneer repairs and lifting veneer on the base. Original painted dial is in very good condition with just the smallest amount of chipping around the mounting screws. Hands, pendulum, and weight are original. Lacquer protecting the brass weight has started to turn brown. Remains of original label in the bottom of the case. Swinging part of the bezel latch is missing, but easily replaced. The rectangular movement is signed.

Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Pendulum No. 1" hanging regulator, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in an oak case with painted metal dial.

The case is in excellent condition and has been skillfully refinished. The metal dial was repainted by Frank Machera in the 1990s. Original hands and correct cast iron weight. Upper and lower glasses are wavy. A copper tag inside of door is stamped "Smith & Ziegler ". The signed brass movement has a spoked hour wheel and is stamped with serial number 49261.

Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Standard Regulator" wall clock with a weight driven 8 day timepiece movement in a darkly finished mahogany case.

The mahogany case is in very good condition and has a darkly stained finish. The original painted dial is in good condition with a minor loss at 12. The hands are original. Both door glasses are original.

The case is in very good condition with a thin finish. The original painted dial is in very good condition with minor loss at the center post and at 1. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The door glasses are original.

Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2 Reissue", 8 day, weight brass movement wall timepiece. Case is numbered 3573 of 4000.

Oak case in very nice condition in original finish. Original painted dial, hands, weight and pendulum. The weight and pendulum have some surface scratches. Painted dial is near perfect with minor scratches in the center.

This wood case with an iron front and door looks repainted. The dial has been repainted. Tablet is replaced. Original hands. The bottom door has an imperfection at the right corner that may be a casting flaw. The label inside is a photocopy. These iron front Terry wall clocks are scarce.
