C.1880, English, rare fusee balloon clock, miniature with ormolu dial.
The ligHeight mahogany veneer case has dings and scratches and a piece of veneer is missing the back side of the top (does not show from front); contrasting line inlay is all there. The original gilt brass dial has fine detail and is in nice condition. The hands are original, minute hand with a sligHeight bend. The crutch for the pendulum is broken and there is no pendulum. The balance of the movement is intact, including the tiny chain, and it ticks robustly to full unwind. This is an uncommon clock that deserves, and will respond to restoration. C.1890, Boston Clock Co., balloon shelf clock
Boston, balloon shaped clock, tandem wind, time and strike, serial number 8042, in very good original condition. This mahogany case is of excellent quality, with inlay on both the front and sides, and heavy cast brass feet; there are 3 minor dings on the front, along the right edge. Strike the hours on a French style gong. The porcelain dial is very good, and with F/S regulation above 12. The clock is running but would benefit from service. An uncommon clock to find in such nice condition. Height 12"
C.1909, Seth Thomas PARMA mahogany mantel clock
in poor, as-found condition. This clock came from an attic in Fall River, and has a damaged porcelain dial, broken minute hand, chips in the veneer and a replacement pendulum. The springs are still good; movement dirty and needs complete cleaning. Admittedly a project, but a patient workman can make something of it. Height 12"

A late Victorian mahogany balloon style small sized Sheraton English bracket clock with a boxwood Sheraton inlayed front panel and stringing,the flat white enamel dial with Arabic numerals contained within a thick cut bevelled glass,the 8- day numbered and stamped French movement chiming the hours and half hours on a gong. 11" x 7" x 6"

The case is mahogany veneered and inlaid on the front. The heavy brass bezel is fitted with convex glass and the dial is a beautiful enamel on copper. The 8-day movement strikes on a coiled gong. in generally good condition. The case has been refinished; evidence of an old presentation plaque on the base molding; veneer on the back side is flaking off (very common). The porcelain dial is good - small hairlines outside 3 are apparent when bezel is open - note dial is signed Tilden-Thurber Co. (fired in). A little TLC will produce a $400 clock. clock, in generally good condition, some of the brass plating separating from the iron, and a small tarnish mark on the upper edge of the base. Even the back of the case on the clock has a raised design. The porcelain dial is perfect along with the original hands; movement recently cleaned and in good running order. Height 11 inches
