Mid 20th Century, Chelsea 8" Inch Ship's strike, red brass, screw bezel, fully restored. This clock was consigned by a sailor who had the clock fully restored, case polished, dial re-silvered, mahogany base restored and refinished and with new screws, new base board and felt. The repair bill alone was several hundred dollars. Note the black spot over the strike winder is a hand stop to keep the clock from running during transit. Runs fine and with Chelsea key. Height 13" $1500-1800
