Original column and splat with a beautifully repainted eglomise tablet. The original hand painted wood dial has raised gilt work and the case has its original finish and carved paw feet. The excellent label states , " patent clocks invented be Eli Terry , made and sold at Plymouth , Connecticut by Eli Terry and Sons." The clock has a 30 hour wood movement and strikes a cast bell. This is an excellent example of a period American clock. The dimensions for this clock are 25.5 " x 17.5 " x 4.25 ". Running duration 30 Hours
