Figured carved mahogany case with reeded pilasters, carved capitals, and scrolled top. Clock retains original blue/green wash on interior and nice warm patina. Old label which states clock once belonged to Peter Cornell, Broadalbin, NY Original tablet and mirror in door. Painted iron dial. Eight-day time-and-strike, weight-driven, brass movement. Height: 53 1/2 inches, Width: 19 1/2 inches Provenance: ex Collection of Peter Zaharis, Ithaca, NY
