Highly figured mahogany case. Bottom door opens to clean, original label with etched tablet. Center door tablet has flying eagle with banner that reads: Premium Clocks, Bristol, CT, USA. Under reverse painted eagle is etched J.C. Brown & Co. Old finish and patina. Movement stamped Forestville Mfg. Co., Bristol, CT Painted wooden dial. Eight-day time-and-strike, weight-driven, brass movement. An incredible example. Height: 40 inches, Width: 25 1/2 inches Provenance: ex Collection of Peter Zaharis, Ithaca, NY
