Ansonia Clock Co. "Crystal Regulator No. 6" ca.
1906 Royal Bonn top and base All 6 clocks of this series were decorated with rich colors, this one with a beautiful royal blue, with gold accents, making it a spectacular looking clock Originally the metal would have been polished brass and rich gold ornaments All the metal is very dull If it were cleaned and polished it would add many dollars to the value of the clock All glasses are beveled and perfect, Just dirty 8-day movement strikes half hours on a gong 2-piece porcelain dial is very good, has the visible escapement The clock is running fine but looks like it hasn't been cleaned in some time A rare clock in a great color The top has been broken in the neck, can only be seen upon close inspection It could easily be disguised but I leave that to the next owner Ly-Ansonia, page 137
