The old dial has a professional repaint job, and may not be original to this case. Jerome was an innovator and tried many different ways to make his clocks desirable. This one has a perfect "gutta purcha" front, behind the door glass. Full blue Jerome label on the back of the gutta purcha piece. 15 inch mahogany veneer case has some ebony paint around the glass and the base. The case has been beautifully maintained and is a model we seldom see. Again he put the paper covering on the backboard.
