Movement is properly signed by Howard with additional markings of "59R,"SN0056" and "11 78". The movement is of the same high quality as the original Howard clocks. The case includes the patented door latch and pendulum lockdown. Cases are made of the finest materials and according to Howard's strict standards. This case is near mint, shows no wear. The No. 59 was made in 4 sizes, this is the smallest of the 4 sizes. It is 3 feet, 6 inches, and the dial is 6 inches. We had one in the February 2001 auction that was 3 feet, 10 inches with an 8 inch dial. See Ly-American No.441.
