Little & Eastman wall regulator.
Movement is signed "Little & Eastman Co., Boston". 35 inch oak case extensively cleaned, refinished, and polished. At first glance I thought it was a good repro, but it is all original. 13 1/4 inch painted dial, signed with the name, "Daniel Pratt's Son, Boston", who I suppose marketed this clock. Some flaking to the old dial, primarily outside the chapter ring. The board covering the weight also has the beat scale on it. You can tell in some places that this clock was probably coated with smoke, tar, and nicotine, and was given a general cleaning inside and out. NAWCC Bulletin, June 1986, article by Harold Cherry, pages 216-238. Other clocks with this name and dial name have been seen. The clock is very similar to Chelsea "No.l Pendulum", and Howard "Reg. No.70".
