"Made by Hopkins & Alfred, and sold by Thomas Moses, Walcottville, Conn", ca1832. Another beautiful flower painted wood dial, correct old hands, weights and pendulum. 30 hour wood movement, strikes an iron bell. Replaced mirrors in door and case top. Full label except bottom edge chipped. The very rare quarter columns have been restenciled, very unusual truncated bevel top. 28 1/2 inch mahogany veneer case is perfect. I see no repairs. Ivory escutcheon, key, and working lock. A beautiful rare clock.
