The Terry Clock Co. "Rose Column" clock, ca 1873.

Waterbury, Conn", ca 1873. The label and movement are signed alike. This clock is called "Eight Day Rose Column", in the catalogs, but mentions you can buy it in 1 day or 8 day. This one is 1 day, 2 weight, striking a coil gong, and is running. Dial is zinc with new paint and signed "Made in USA", which I would assume means it is a new dial. 22 1/2 inch case is probably rosewood and is one notch from being perfect. There are a couple of small nicks on the top board, now stained to disguise any problem. The glasses are probably original, bottom has been rebacked. Period weights, bob, and crank. Most of the label is intact. See Ehrhardt, Book 2, page 147.
