Originally had a gold gilt finish. Some gold remains but mostly the copper undercoat is showing. Gilt bezel, dial surround, and inner dial, are very bright. The dial is signed, full label "ASIA" underneath. The metal case is 100% covered with designs and figures; fox and birds on the base, owls in the middle, bird on top, vines, flowers, and fruit of all kinds. Case is 14 inches wide, 12 1/2 inches high. 8 day, strikes a gong. Probably had feet at one time and pendulum no doubt not original. You attach it underneath.
