This clock has some restoration. The dials were re-papered maybe 25 years ago and have darkened. The replaced weights are machined steel and are a bit heavy for the task. This case must have hung by the kitchen door, as the left side of the clock is sun bleached and is missing most of its finish, probably from a bit of rain or moisture coming in when the house door was opened. All the wooden moldings are intact and top finials are original; the bottom finials have some age, but may be proper copies; they look fine. Dial mask is original and with original finish. Would be worth $6000 if all original. Height 61Ó $2,750-$3,750
