A pristine clock for a musician or clock collector. Either one would appreciate this delicate table clock which is structured with birds-eye maple wood. It is in the form of a harp and has fire-gilt decoration. The gilding is finely done in matte and polished finish. The case is contrasted with parts of mahogany wood The 8 day brass movement has silk thread suspension, an outside count wheel and numbered 764. It strikes the half and full hours on a delicate bell. The case rests on four gilt decorative feet. This is an extremely all original lyre clock. The silvered and engined turned dial is signed: "Dijon Leguery a Paris" A collectors beauty! Base Height: 21 inches (54cm) Width: 9.25 inches (23.5cm) Dep[th: 4.75 inches (12cm)
