Check out this railroad clock made by the Self Winding Clock Co. New York, "Pediment Clock", ca 1910. The dial is marked, "New York Central System". The large ebonized wood case is 36 inches long, 20 inches high, with a 14 inch dial. The front bezel lifts up to access the hands. The back door lifts to access the large brass pendulum and two batteries. It was originally wired to control other clocks, bells, etc. The old clock is in near perfect condition. Ly-American Clocks, Volume 2, page 282, No.815.
