8 day brass movement signed same as the label. Note the 30 hour movement. Was converted to an 8 day by attaching pieces to the bottom. Homemade lead weights descend thru the hollow columns. Very good full label, period pendulum, hands, and old zinc dial. All glasses are old, top puttied in, bottom 2 held by wood strips. Middle is a scene of Broadway in New York, bottom a most unusual reverse painting over a partially mirrored glass. You can see reflections and also colors behind the painting.Nice 35 inch mahogany veneer case has a few little nicks, bottom board has about 5 chips. Good carved splat, missing the returns on the sides. Double rollers on top.
