Dark mahogany finished case with two burl veneer panels, all hand rubbed. Good 6" silver dial, bowed glass, brass sash should be polished to make this clock tip top. Case is 9.5" high, 21" long, has a full label inside the back door. Outfitted with 2 chime rods which Gilbert calls their "Normandy Chimes". Ly-Gilbert No. 972 is almost identical except it has an oval dial.
