Another excellent walnut case, from the same collection as No. 528. Black walnut caseis 19.5" high; all original case has a rail balcony on top and covered withleaves on top and sides. Excellent original glass, dial, label, Patti pendulum, and signed Welch movement. 30 hour gong strike, detached alarm that strikes a brass bell and it is running. An added feature is a doorknob which is a help to keep from breaking fingernails when opening the door. The clock is all original and clean as a pin. Ly-Welch No. 445.
