8 day, bell strikeon the hours. For an early clock this one is not bad. It is all originaland running. The section below the round door lifts out to access the pendulum. It is held in place with metal pegs. Behind the door glass is a piece of twistedbrass that holds the glass in place. Old zinc dial has not been cleaned orrepainted, very nice. Full label on the back Walnut case is almost 13 incheshigh.
