Label on the back states, "Davies Sole ManÕfÕ The Crystal Palace Clocks Patented Jan y 26. 1875". H. J. DaviessÕ sold his clocks thru the Ansonia trade catalogs and the American Clock Co. catalog. This model was called the "Extra" because of the cupid behind the pendulum. 8 day, bell strike. This is another fine, almost perfect clock from the Miller Collection. It stands 17 inches with the dome. You collectors that like the Crystal PalaceÕs I will say that I have had many of them, none better than this one. I challenge you to find one better.
