New Haven "Gallery", ca 1895.

A handsome double wind 30 day timepiece. Someone did a fine job refinishing the 24" walnut case and rubbing it down to a high gloss. The heavy metal dial is 18" between the time ring and just a little paint loss where the fingers rub between 5 and 8 oÕclock. I believe the clock to be all original, and the signed New Haven movement has been servicedand it is running great. The clock hung in the Harris Motor Company showroom, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, most of its life and was bought by the presentowner in 1970, so it hasnÕt been moved from pillar to post. Ly-NewHaven No. 655, valued the clock at $1500 three years ago.
