E. Howard "No. 59 Regulator".
Howard reintroduced to the clock market in 1975, several of their more poplar models. The movements and cases maintained the high standards the Howard firm was famous for, and were made to HowardÕs strict specifications. We have noticed over the years that these reproductions have gradually been increasing in price, and of course the time will come when the public will buy them as if they were original. The No. 59 was originally made in four sizes, beginning at 36 inches and going up to 70 inches. This one is 46 inches high, with an 8 inch signed dial. This clock looks brand new and I understand the previous owner never ran it. I havenÕt either, so you may want to check the movement for oil and I would check the weight cord before winding up to run for 8 days. Reference- Ly-American No. 441.
