Circa 1830 10 inches excellent gilt and hand painted wood, 30-hour, rare "upside down" wood works alarm clock movement, original lower reverse painted tablet reads "Time is Money", a favorite saying of Ben Franklin, Hoadley called these "Franklin Clocks", center glazed replaced, a few minor veneer losses, movement complete and seems to run fine. Height 35 1/2 inches
