Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, Mo. "Fashion No. 2" C. 1877.

Label inside the door says it was set to running December 1, 1877. Evidently this was the only model made using walnut veneer. It is 31" high, full turned columns, and three turned finials. They all have good tips and the indentions on the base which generally mean they are original. The veneer is very nice except for the rounded edge on top. Not bad, but some veneer loss which is common on this model. 8 day movement, hourly strike on a large brass bell. What is so unusual is to see a pair of dials that do not have a substantial loss of paint, or repainted as most are. The clock is running fine and the calendar is changing properly. This is a very good example of an early Fashion.
