The Ingraham catalogs describe this model as "walnut and gilt". Maybe they did make it that way but this one is cherry with ebony trim. It may be one of the few clocks of this type you will see made with cherry. Everything is original, never refinished, glass, pendulum, dial, and enough label on the back to identify the model. It is 8 day, runs like a Jaguar, strikes on a cathedral gong, and I think it has the slow-strike movement which Ingraham offered for an additional 35 cents. Ly-Ingraham #925.
