Waterbury Clock Co. "Regulator No. 57", C. 1906.
Mahogany case with original finish, a little dark but expected at that age. It is 49.5" high, no visible repairs or new parts. Weights, pendulum and stick, beat scale, and full black label inside, all original and very good. 8 day trapezoid 2 weight time only movement, has dead beat escapement, retaining power, solid polished movement frames. Mounted to the case on an iron back plate very similar to a pinwheel mount only on a smaller scale. Has been running in the previous owners home for a long time. The Dial House made and painted a new 10" dial pan, therefore it is as expected, very nice. See Ly-Waterbury #571 for the clock, and #568 for the exact same iron back plate and movement, except #568 has Geneva Stops, and our movement does not, nor did it ever have.
