One of Gilberts nicest mantle clocks, cut glass mirror panels in the sides and base, and the cut glass mirror pendulum just sets it off. This model has the balls on top, some do not. This all original walnut case is 25" high, has not been refinished or tinkered with in any way except someone has put a paper dial on the old pan. On the back is a nice full label. 8 day movement strikes a cathedral gong. We don't get 115 year old clocks any nicer than this. Ly-Gilbert, page 293.
