Self Winding Clock Co. C. 1910, wall hanging case only.

Excellent case has been refinished and false graining applied over the outside and the inside of the case. Heavy beveled glass in door. There is an original serial number tag on the door, a label on the base, and the large original beat scale The case is 24" wide at the top, 63" high, top opening for the dial is 14". The Self Winding catalogs say the case was made of selected oak or birch. I will call it birch or poplar, as it is definitely not oak. With a good movement, 14" dial, and large pendulum it would be a spectacular clock. Ly-American Clocks, Volume 2, page 253.
