This is the first of several Ansonia clocks from one collection. All are immaculate, refinished and/or cleaned, good running order, and original as far as we can tell at first glance. We will go thru each clock closely and point out any deficiencies. This clock is 8 day, time only, original signed dial, pendulum and stick, and best of all, the original glass with gold leaf announcement, "Presented by H. E. French 1895". From some notes that came with the clock, it was established that Mr. French was a Jeweler & Optician, Wood Square, Hudson, Mass., in the late 1800's, early 1900's. The excellent oak case is 40 inches high. Ly-Ansonia #618.
